Each decorated porcelain item begins as a fully finished white piece. The décor is applied by hand, and then it goes back into the kiln for an additional firing to seal the decoration into the glazing, ensuring that the design will never scratch or wear off. Like all the Pillivuyt porcelain, it goes from freezer to oven to table to dishwasher in elegant style and will provide many years of reliable everyday service. The patterns shown below all use the Pillivuyt Sancerre form. While the patterns are not carried in stock, we can special order them for you from the factory in France.
